Salt spa

One of the most unique spots in Valle Salado is the Salt Spa. Its outdoor facilities consist of a foot bath and hand bath. You may bathe your hands and feet in salt, recreating what the ancient salt workers did when they produced salt.

At the Salt Spa you will be able to experience the great health benefits of the controlled contact with the hypersaline waters from the Valley springs, where the salinity level is approximately 240 grams of salt per litre.

Scientific studies have proven the therapeutic properties of these brine baths, highlighting improvements in blood circulation, remineralisation of the skin, improved elasticity of the tissues and reduced possibilities of developing osteoarthritis.

It is also especially suited for inflammatory joint diseases, tendinitis, post-surgery recovery and post-fracture treatments as well as problems related to eczema and allergies.

Timetable: From 10:00 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 19:30.

OPEN FROM 13th OCTOBER TO 2nd NOVEMBER:

Timetable: monday to friday 10:30-14:30

week-ends 10:30-14:30 and 15:30-17:30

PRICE INCLUDED IN THE TOUR:

Its use is included free with the payment of any tour of Valle Salado.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The footbath is not a pool. You may not immerse the whole body. You are not allowed to use swimsuits and must keep your torso covered.

As in all areas of the Valle Salado, smoking and eating is forbidden.

You must attend the instructions provided by the person in charge of the Salty Spa.
